A Career in Professional or Community Theatre
Irchester Players operates a work experience and shadowing programme for those enrolled on a full time higher or further education courses, which relates to theatre and welcomes applications for work experience for all people that are passionate about the dramatic arts and share our ethos. Jessica Yates, who completed her work experience with the group in 2016, had this to say:
“I came not knowing anyone, but I have found everyone to be friendly, approachable and encouraging. My time and experience has been fun, very educational and enjoyable – I have learnt so much about how theatre, particularly in the community, works. Players have tailored my experience to fit me; allowing me to work on costuming, something I want to study at university.
I would highly recommend undertaking a work experience with Players to everyone and anyone who asked; I have loved it that much I have become a member.”
