Irchester Players Rising Stars
Our Current Timetable

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: Rising Stars FAQs!
1. Does my child need to be a member of Irchester Players?
Nope! Rising Stars is open to everyone aged 8–16, whether you’ve been on our stage a dozen times or have never even seen a script. No membership fees, no auditions, just turn up and have fun!
2. Can we just come to one session, or do we have to book the whole month?
It’s totally up to you! We’ve designed this to be a "no-commitment" zone. You can book for a single Sunday that catches your eye (like Stage Combat or Street Dance!), or join us for the full month to get the complete experience.
3. How is this different from the regular Youth Division shows?
Great question! While our Youth Division focuses on rehearsing and performing full-scale productions, Rising Stars is all about skills. It’s a dedicated space to learn specific Drama and Dance techniques like improv, mime, and contemporary movement without the pressure of a looming opening night!
4. What should they wear?
Comfort is key! Since we’ll be moving around a lot (especially in the dance sessions), we recommend leggings, joggers, or shorts and a t-shirt. If specific footwear is required, this will be specified in the class description when booking.
5. My child is a total beginner. Will they be okay?
Absolutely! These workshops are designed for all abilities. Our instructors are experts at making sure everyone feels included, supported, and confident, regardless of their experience level.
6. Is this just for June?
June is our official Trial Month so you can get a taste of the magic! After the summer break, we’ll be back for a Hard Launch in September where these will become a permanent fixture of our weekly schedule.
